Dry Storage and Cooler Storage Space Available
The U.P. Food Exchange offers cold and dry storage at The Marquette Food Co-op for only $1.50 per cubic foot to farms and food producers who need it. In addition to an affordable price, the storage contract offers the following benefits:
Storage is available as a long-term option or to temporarily alleviate short-term or seasonal storage limitations.
Vendors from other parts of the Upper Peninsula can save on delivery cost. They may use this storage to ensure they have a supply of product ready to sell to Central U.P. businesses through the UPFE Online Marketplace – no need to travel every time there is a sale.
Access to your product is allowed during open hours of the Co-op, which is 8am-9pm, seven days a week. Renters are required to check in at the Customer Service Desk upon arrival.
Shelving and carts for storing and moving product provided.
Cooler temperature is monitored along with all of the Marquette Food Co-op’s refrigeration, which has an alarm to ensure action can be taken to protect product should the temperature rise.
