DESCRIPTION:The next U.P. Agriculture for Tomorrow Conference will be held at Bay College\, Escanaba on Tuesday\, March 10\, 2015. Agriculture for Tomorrow offers the opportunity to attend educational sessions on a variety of topics\, view displays from sponsors\, and network with others. We are excited about the topics we will be offering this year around soil health\, local food systems\, livestock\, and plants/crops. Several sessions will again qualify for MAEAP Phase I credit. We had good feedback from the redesign of the schedule last year so there will again be an opening session with the keynote speaker to kick off the day\, leaving more time during lunch to view the displays and network. The keynote speaker for the 2015 conference is Jim Hoorman\, Ohio State University Extension Educator and the topic will be focused on soil health. \nIf you would like more information about registering for the Agriculture for Tomorrow Conference\, contact the Alger County MSU Extension office at 906-387-2530. \n
